Amritsari Choley

A scrumptious medley of spices paired up with Chickpeas including jeera, dhaniya, and haldi, amidst a luscious dark gravy is sure to make every bite of Amritsari Choley, a meal to remember & revisit.

Ingredients

• 3 tbsp ghee 
• 2 tbsp Mustard Oil 
• 1 black cardamom 
• 2 whole red chilli 
• 2 bay leaves 
• 1 tsp cumin Seeds
• 1 inch ginger, crushed 
• 4-5 cloves garlic, crushed 
• 2 medium onion, finely chopped 
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp coriander Powder
• 1 tsp red chilli powder
  
• Himalayan Pink Salt
• 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp garam masala powder
• 1 tsp caraway seeds
• 3 green chillies, slit
• 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds, coarsely ground
• Ginger julienne, for garnish
• Sliced onion, for garnish
• Coriander Leaves for garnish

How to Make

1. Empty the packet in a bowl. Remove the oxygen absorbing sachet.
2. Add 70-150 ml boiled water, adjust water based on the consistency you require.
3. Stir it for a minute cover for 15-20 minutes and voila ready to eat.
